Breeders outside the United States
The pedigree cat community has never been a US-only thing. Kittenry started in the States because that's where we could verify registry records fastest — but we're opening to breeders elsewhere, and we'd rather say plainly where we are than pretend to a global directory we haven't built yet.
What we can and can't verify abroad
Our verification rests on checking a cattery's registration directly with TICA or CFA. TICA is international, so that check works in most countries. Where a breeder is registered with a national body instead — GCCF in the UK, LOOF in France, FIFe affiliates across Europe — we can still confirm registration, but it takes longer and we'll tell you which body we checked.
What we cannot do from here is assess import legality for your country, or the paperwork a cat needs to cross a border. That is genuinely complicated, it varies enormously, and getting it wrong can mean an animal is refused entry or quarantined. Ask the breeder, and confirm independently with your own authority.
Regions we're opening to first

| Netherlands & Belgium | Small countries, disproportionately active in pedigree cats. |
| Czech Republic & Poland | Central Europe has become a real centre for pedigree breeds. |
| Scandinavia | Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland — Maine Coon country in particular. |
| New Zealand | Very strict biosecurity. Import is difficult and hybrids especially so. |
| Thailand & Southeast Asia | A fast-growing community, mostly around Bangkok and Singapore. |
