Hawaii is the strictest jurisdiction in the country on this. Hawaii prohibits hybrid cats outright, regardless of generation, as part of its broader restrictions on non-native animals. Do not pay a deposit on a hybrid kitten for delivery to Hawaii without confirming your position first — the non-hybrid breeds below are the realistic route here.
This is the part people get wrong
These rules apply to hybrid breeds — Bengals, Savannahs, Chausies and Cheetohs — because they descend from a wild species. They do not apply to Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Siberians, British Shorthairs, Persians, Sphynxes, Russian Blues, British Longhairs, Exotic Shorthairs, Toygers, Ocicats, Egyptian Maus, Serengetis and Highlanders, which are fully domestic breeds with no wild ancestry and no generation ladder.
