They do not apply to Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Siberians, British Shorthairs, Persians, Sphynxes, Russian Blues, British Longhairs, Exotic Shorthairs, Toygers, Ocicats, Egyptian Maus, Serengetis and Highlanders, which are fully domestic breeds with no wild ancestry and no generation ladder. If Maine's hybrid rules are a problem for you, those breeds are unaffected by them.
